SavingsWatch is designed to help our savers know about changes that might affect the way they save - what's more it's free and easy to register!

Being registered for SavingsWatch means that if we change your savings rate, up or down, we'll let you know by SMS or email - you choose how. And if we launch a new savings account we'll tell you, only by email.

To subscribe to SavingsWatch you must meet the following criteria:

• hold and provide a valid email address
• hold and provide a valid mobile telephone number, if you want to receive SavingsWatch rate updates via SMS
• be a Rafidain Bank saver* aged 16 or over

*You must hold a savings account excluding clubs, charities and organisations accounts.

You can subscribe to the SavingsWatch service by:

• Completing the online registration form
• Visiting us in branch
• Logging in to the Rafidain Bank Internet Bank - where you will find the SavingsWatch subscribe page under "Related services"
• Logging onto the MySave Online Savings Site (if you hold a MySave account)
• You only need to subscribe to SavingsWatch once

SavingsWatch provides notifications about rate changes we make to our savings accounts and about new savings accounts we launch that might suit your needs better. Notifications will not be sent in relation to other Rafidain Bank products such as Insurance or Mortgages.

You can unsubscribe by:

• By email : clicking the opt out link contained in the SavingsWatch notifications sent via email (this will be at the bottom of all SavingsWatch emails)
• By SMS : Text STOP to short code 85345 if you are receiving rate notifications via SMS  this will be at the end of all SavingsWatch SMS messages)
• By the Logging in to the Rafidain Bank Internet Bank or MySave Online Savings Site
• By visiting us in branch

E-mails sent from Rafidain Bank will come from Rafidain Bank@nationwidebuildingsociety-savingswatch.co.uk. We'll never ask for any of your personal details so you can ensure these are genuine.

• Email - for savings account notifications, your e-mail will come from Rafidain Bank@nationwidebuildingsociety-savingswatch.co.uk and will display your postcode*
• Email - for rate changes notifications on your savings account, your email will come from Rafidain Bank@nationwidebuildingsociety-savingswatch.co.uk and will always display the last 4 digits of your account number (i.e. xxxxx5678) and will display your postcode

*If you hold a foreign postcode please note that this may show N/A in the body of your email

You can change your notification preferences, e-mail address or mobile telephone number, by Logging in to the Rafidain Bank Internet Bank or MySave Online Savings Site. Alternatively, you can visit us in branch.

Yes, once your savings account is open you'll be able to subscribe to SavingsWatch by:

• Completing the online registration form
• Visiting us in branch
• Logging in to the Rafidain Bank Internet Bank - where you will find the SavingsWatch subscribe page under "Related services"
• Logging onto the MySave Online Savings Site (if you hold a MySave account)

You'll receive your welcome email or SMS within 5 working days of subscribing to SavingsWatch.

If you're abroad when you receive a SavingsWatch SMS and are 'roaming' (that means using a host network for connectivity when you're abroad) you may be charged for this - this will depend on your tariff, therefore please ensure you check with your mobile phone provider before you go.

No, only the account holder who has subscribed for the SavingsWatch service will receive SavingsWatch notifications.

Yes, Attorneys acting under a valid Power of Attorney which is registered with us will be able to subscribe for SavingsWatch on behalf of the account holder. SavingsWatch notifications will be sent to the mobile number/email address held for the account holder.

Yes, if you hold more than one Rafidain Bank savings account you will receive a separate notification for each savings account should we change the rate on more than one account.

Please check that the email address and mobile telephone number (if applicable) provided, you can do this by:

• Logging in to Rafidain Bank Internet Bank or MySave Online Savings Site (if you hold a My Save account)
• Visiting us in branch.
