3. Text Alerts will be sent by SMS only. Rafidain Bank will not charge you for Text Alerts, however you will be responsible for all charges made by the network provider for your mobile and you should be aware of all network charges which may include higher charges should you receive a Text Alert whilst you are abroad. Rafidain Bank has no control over any charges made by the network provider for your mobile telephone.
4. Depending on the service(s) you have subscribed for the following alerts will be sent:-
a) a mini-statement (the balance and the last five transactions on your account) at the intervals you specified; and/or
b) a low balance alert where your account has reached or dropped below the low balance limit you set; and/or
c) a high balance alert where your account has reached or has exceeded the high balance limit you set; and
d) any other important information which we believe you should know.
5. Each Text Alert will contain information which is accurate only on the date and time set out in the alert. However, the balance shown in any Text Alert may not include all transactions on your account.
6. You will receive low balance alerts for no more than two consecutive days, and a high balance alert once each time your balance increases to reach or exceed the high balance limit value you set.
7. We shall have no liability if you are unable to receive Text Alerts because of the failure of any machine, data processing system or transmission link or anything else beyond our or our agent’s reasonable control. We will also have no liability where others are able to read your Text Alerts.
