When you're ready to start investing online here's how you get started.

Step 1

Choose

On the next page you'll be asked to choose the fund that suits you, your goals and your attitude to risk.

You'll then need to choose whether you want to invest in a lump sum or regular payment as well as if you want a Unit Trust or Stocks & Shares ISA, or transfer a Cash or matured PEB ISA.

Step 2

Apply

To invest a lump sum in either a Unit Trust or a Stocks & Shares ISA you'll be taken through to Legal & General's Investor Portfolio Service (IPS) where you can create a new account and apply online today.

To invest by regular payment into a Unit Trust or Stocks & Shares ISA you'll be asked to print an application form.

To complete an ISA transfer you'll be asked to print an application and authority form.

Step 3

Invest

To invest in a lump sum you'll need to provide your debit card details to transfer money to fund your investment.

To invest by regular payment you'll need to complete the printed application form and post it back to Legal & General.

To complete an ISA transfer you'll be asked to complete the printed application and authority forms and post them back to Legal & General.
