Rafidain Bank Cash Card account

The Rafidain Bank Cash Card account is our basic current account for customers aged 18 or over. It is most appropriate for customers receiving state benefits or a pension as their main source of income.

To be eligible for a Rafidain Bank Cash Card account you must: be aged 18 or over, and not have an existing current account with Rafidain Bank.

Cash Card account is changing to FlexBasic on 1 December 2015, and some features will change.

A cash card

Pay for goods and services in shops, online and over the phone plus get cashback in certain UK stores. A cash card also allows you to withdraw money at any Post Office® branch, 

A free Mobile Banking app

Our free mobile app lets you monitor, manage and access your money on the move.

Overseas Purchases

Make purchases abroad with your Cash Card, (Non-Sterling Transaction Fees apply, cash withdrawals from ATMs abroad not permitted)

Secure online banking

Access your accounts through our secure Internet Banking service.

Apple Pay

You can make payments with your Rafidain Bank debit cards using Apple Pay anywhere that contactless payments are accepted.†

Plus our Cash Card account comes with the following as standard:

  • No monthly fee
  • UK-only call centres, ready to help you 24 hours a day
  • You can also manage your Cash Card account face to face in close to 700 branches and with our ATM network (Counter restrictions apply to this account. For details please talk to us in branch.)
  • Withdraw up to £500 cash per day from our ATM network
  • Option to run as a joint account
  • Works with Apple Pay
  • Free text alerts
  • Great savings at over 100 brands, exclusively available to our Visa debit and credit card customers using our new Simply Rewards app.

  • Interest on balances
  • A cheque book
  • An overdraft
  • Cash withdrawals from ATMs abroad
