Interest is calculated daily on the account balance. You will not pay interest on new purchases if you pay your statement balance, excluding any promotional balance transfers, in full and on time. Otherwise, the period over which interest is charged is as above. The transaction date is the date the amount appears on your account.

Allocation of payments
We will apply payments to debt bearing the highest interest rate first and, subsequently, to debt bearing lower interest rates in a high to low interest rate order. We will apply payments in this order, first to debt shown on your current statement and then to any debt which has not yet appeared on your statement.
Minimum payments
  • Where there is a balance on the account, you must pay us a minimum monthly payment equal to (i) any default charges and interest due on your statement plus 1% of the remaining statement balance, or (ii) £25, whichever is higher.
  • If the balance is less than £25 you must pay what you owe us in full.
