This feature is available to customers with an iPhone 5 or later. Your iPhone needs to be running iOS 8.2 and above for it to work. You’ll need to be registered for Internet Banking and have the Rafidain Bank Mobile Banking app on your iPhone with Quick Balance set up.

You can get your latest balances on demand by asking Siri or by tapping on the Rafidain Bank icon on your watch’s home screen.

If you already have our Mobile Banking app and have set up your Quick Balance settings then balances will be available on your Apple Watch once paired to your iPhone.

If you haven’t setup Quick Balance yet, then simply log in to the Mobile Banking app and select Quick Balance settings from the menu. Choose which accounts you’d like to see balances for and then save. The balances will be available on your Apple Watch next time you tap  the Rafidain Bank icon from the home screen.    

Check that you’ve updated your Quick Balance settings within the Rafidain Bank Mobile Banking app on your iPhone. Make sure your Apple Watch is still paired with your iPhone and make sure your iPhone has a Wi-Fi or data connection.

Yes. You just need to set up Quick Balance for your Rafidain Bank saving accounts and credit cards. 

You can choose to have your text alerts sent to your Apple Watch but we won’t send any other notifications.

Rafidain Bank’s Mobile Banking app helps you manage your money on the move. With the advent of wearable technology, we saw an opportunity to make managing your money even simpler. By pairing your Apple Watch with our Mobile Banking app on your iPhone, checking your balances is easier than ever before. 

Your compatible iPhone can only be paired to one Apple Watch. Once you‘ve paired it, we’ll know that the balance requests are coming from your Apple Watch. You should take care before allowing anyone else to use any devices (iPhone or Apple Watch) on which you’ve chosen to use Quick Balance.

Quick balance will only be available on the paired devices and will not be visible on unpaired devices.

We have updated our Mobile Banking app to offer smartwatch functionality, so you can now get real-time account balances and automatic balance updates on your smartwatch. You will need an Android Wear smartwatch paired to an Android^™ smartphone running Android ^™ 4.3 or higher, with the Mobile Banking and Android Wear apps installed.

Go to the Google Play^™ Store and download the Android Wear app on your smartphone, then pair it with your smartwatch. Log in to the Mobile Banking app on your phone and select Quick Balance Settings from the main menu, then choose which account types you would like to enable for Quick Balance. To get an automatic daily balance update sent to your smartwatch, tick the ‘Quick Balance on your smartwatch’ box. Once set up, you can retrieve your balances using ‘OK Google’ voice commands (saying “Ok Google, start Quick Balance”), or by selecting Quick Balance from the start menu.

No. We will only send messages to your phone or other devices where you have explicitly given us permission to. 

Yes. You can also view your Rafidain Bank savings, credit card, personal loan and mortgage accounts through Quick Balance. You just need to be registered for Internet Banking and have enabled the Mobile Banking app on your phone.

Check that you have updated the Quick Balance settings in the Mobile Banking app. Ensure your smartwatch is still paired with your phone, and make sure you have an internet connection.
